Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 6, 2026 | Last Revised: August 6, 2026

1. Executive Summary & Zero-Server Guarantee

ReducerImage Media & Technologies ("we", "our", or "us") operates with an uncompromised commitment to user data protection, transparency, and personal privacy. Unlike traditional cloud-based image editing websites that upload your photos, documents, and identity signatures to remote third-party servers, ReducerImage is engineered from the ground up on a 100% client-side zero-upload architecture. Every image manipulation—whether you are compressing a passport photo to 20 KB, converting iPhone HEIC photos to JPG, or stripping EXIF camera metadata—executes locally inside your web browser's isolated virtual memory (RAM). Your files are never transmitted across the public internet, never saved in server databases, and never logged by our web infrastructure under any circumstances.

2. Technical Data Isolation & Local Memory Lifetime

Because all image rendering, Canvas pixel manipulations, format encoding, and Blob byte calculations occur locally on your computer, tablet, or smartphone CPU/GPU, our servers have zero technical access to your media files. We maintain no upload storage buckets, file caches, or database tables containing user content.

Local Data Storage & Session Memory Lifetime

  • DOM Memory Blobs: Temporary binary memory pointers (Blobs) created during single or batch image processing reside exclusively within your web browser RAM. They are destroyed automatically as soon as you close your browser tab or navigate away from the tool page.
  • Browser LocalStorage: We store non-sensitive user interface preferences (such as your chosen visual theme mode—light or dark—and your preferred display language) locally within your device's browser storage. No personal identification data, names, or file histories are ever stored in LocalStorage.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures

ReducerImage provides all image compression, format conversion, and editing utilities 100% free of charge to students, job applicants, creators, and developers worldwide. To cover domain hosting expenses, bandwidth, and ongoing software development without charging subscription fees or erecting paywalls, we display clean, non-intrusive advertisements served by Google AdSense and authorized third-party ad vendors. In compliance with Google AdSense Programme Policies, we declare the following transparent disclosures:

  • Third-Party Vendor Cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve contextually relevant advertisements based on a user's prior visits to ReducerImage or other websites across the web.
  • DoubleClick DART Cookie: Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) enables Google and its ad network partners to serve tailored ads to users based on their visits to our site and other destinations across the Internet.
  • Managing & Opting Out of Advertising Cookies: You have full control over your advertising preferences. Users can opt out of personalized advertising anytime by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance Consumer Choice Portal or the Your Online Choices Portal.

4. Anonymized Web Analytics & Performance Metrics

To monitor site performance, diagnose page loading speed, and optimize user navigation, we implement privacy-focused Google Analytics (gtag.js). Analytics scripts collect aggregated, non-identifying telemetry metrics such as total page views, average session duration, general browser type, operating system category, and general country location. All IP addresses are automatically anonymized prior to storage. Analytics scripts are sandboxed and have no access to your uploaded files, image content, or canvas memory.

5. European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Rights

If you reside within the European Union or European Economic Area (EEA), you enjoy specific statutory rights regarding your personal information under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right to Access & Inspection: You have the right to request confirmation of any personal data processed by us. Because we do not upload or store your media files, zero personal file data resides in our infrastructure.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can clear all localized UI preferences instantly by clearing your browser cache and site storage settings.
  • Right to Object & Data Portability: You can object to personalized ad tracking by utilizing the Google Ads opt-out links provided in Section 3 of this policy.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents are entitled to transparent disclosures regarding personal information collection and processing:

  • We Do Not Sell Personal Information: ReducerImage does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal information or media files to third parties or data brokers under any circumstances.
  • Categories of Data Processed: We process non-identifying technical data (such as browser type and anonymized IP metrics) solely for operational service delivery and security monitoring.
  • California Consumer Rights: You hold the right to request deletion of personal preferences, opt out of third-party advertising cookies, and receive equal service without discrimination.

7. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Disclosures

ReducerImage is designed as a general utility tool accessible to all audiences. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal identifying information from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian discovers that their child has provided contact details to us, please contact our privacy compliance officer immediately, and we will promptly erase such information from our communication records.

8. Third-Party Web Links & Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)

Our website may contain links to external reference sites, educational articles, or third-party web resources. ReducerImage does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites. Additionally, our site loads static open-source assets (such as Google Fonts and Lucide SVG icons) via secure Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). These CDNs process standard HTTP GET requests to deliver font styles and icons efficiently without accessing your personal media files.

9. Policy Revisions & Privacy Compliance Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological enhancements, statutory legal updates, or operational policy refinements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Revised" timestamp at the top of the policy.
