Standard image resizing uses bilinear or bicubic interpolation, which blurs color boundaries and creates unwanted fuzzy gradients. Our engine explicitly disables image smoothing (`ctx.imageSmoothingEnabled = false`) and uses nearest-neighbor sampling. Each pixel block is enlarged with 100% razor-sharp geometric precision.

Maps every pixel's RGB vector to the nearest Euclidean color in the chosen retro console palette.
